Mickleton v Leamington Cricket Club 4th XI on Sat 13 Jul 2013 at 1.30pm
Leamington Cricket Club Won by 150 Runs
Match report
Leamington made short work of Mickleton on a blazing Saturday afternoon.
Batting first, the Spa side made short work of some poor bowling. Billy Hallett maintained his recent great form, passing 500 runs for the season, in making a powerful 136 Not Out. His opening partner, James Cutts, made 20, and this was to be Mickleton's only success, as Hallett was joined by Mark Reynolds. They plundered the bowling to all parts. Reynolds made his first century for Leamington ending on 106*, as Leamington closed on 279 - 1 at tea.
Mickleton's response was undermined by early wickets for Cutts and Nathan Credgington. Once again, the unstoppable Mark Ryan, applied the coup de grace, taking 5 for 31, as Mickleton were bowled out for 129 in the 34th over.
